These terms explain the basic conditions for enquiring about and renting a self-drive tuk tuk from Panda Tuk Tuk. Your booking confirmation and rental agreement set out the details for your specific trip.

Bookings and prices

Submitting the website form opens WhatsApp with your enquiry details; it does not by itself confirm a reservation. Our team will confirm the vehicle, dates, locations, optional extras, total price and any deposit before your booking is final. Prices displayed on the website may differ from the final quote if your itinerary or chosen extras change.

Driver requirements

Every driver must meet the applicable Sri Lankan driving requirements and hold the required local recognition permit before driving. Provide accurate licence and identity documents when requested. Panda Tuk Tuk can help arrange the local permit before arrival.

Vehicle handover and use

We hand over the tuk tuk after the agreed documentation, payment and security requirements are completed. Check the vehicle and any accessories at handover. Drive responsibly, follow road rules and use the vehicle only as permitted by your rental agreement.

Return of the tuk tuk

Return the vehicle at the date, time and location in your booking confirmation, in the condition received apart from normal wear and tear. Late returns, missing items, damage or a lower fuel level may lead to additional charges under your rental agreement.

Insurance and roadside support

Comprehensive insurance and roadside support are included as described in the rental documents. Coverage, excesses and exclusions depend on the applicable policy. Contact our team promptly after any accident, breakdown, loss or damage and follow the instructions provided.

Cancellations and refunds

Contact us as soon as your plans change. The applicable cancellation windows, refund processing and deposit conditions are described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy and your booking confirmation.
